The 6-lane track opened in August 2006. Laser grading and high quality construction of the Plexi-track accelerator surface will ensure a safe high tech surface for championship level track meets. The broken back design accommodates six lanes and an eight lane sprint straight away. The track also feature amenities to accommodate high school level championship meets, such as long jump and triple jump pits, high jump pad, pole vault runway, shot put and discus pad as well as a designated javelin area.
